Inside California: On The Road with Anna Friel

One of the most successful recent projects we were involved in was British Airways and Visit California’s digital campaign featuring award-winning British actress, Anna Friel.

The campaign went live at the end of January 2018, and in just 6 weeks had achieved the following:

 

Overall
Across all activity (social advertising, VOD and programmatic), the campaign has so far served over 31 million impressions, with over 9 million video views and over 72,000 clicks through to the BA California Hub.

 

Social Advertising
With one 30” and three 15” videos currently live across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, the combined average view through rate is 35.6% which exceeds the benchmark of 18.56%

Facebook + Instagram paid advertising
Currently 11,205,463 impressions have been served, utilising the 30” and three 15” videos.
From these impressions, 305,529 video views were completed (100%) and drove 25,499 clicks through to the BA California hub.

Twitter paid advertising
Currently 14,750,305 impressions have been served, utilising the 30” and three 15” videos. From these impressions, 529,471 video views were completed (100%) and drove 25,833 clicks through to the BA California hub.
